Crispy Gnocchi & Steak Bites

Who knew steak and gnocchi could be such a perfect pair? This modern take on steak and potatoes combines juicy seared steak bites with crispy store-bought gnocchi, all tossed in fresh basil, lemon, and parmesan cheese. A full dinner in under 15 minutes, this dish will have you reaching for that convenient gnocchi every time. Store-bought gnocchi may not be homemade, but its texture is ideal for searing to golden perfection, giving you crispy, fluffy bites that pair perfectly with tender steak. You’ll wonder why this isn’t a staple at steakhouses everywhere!

For the steak, choose a tender cut like sirloin, strip, or ribeye—stew meat won’t cut it here. The key to perfect steak bites is a high-heat sear in a heavy-bottomed pan. Get your pan nice and hot, keep the steak dry, and flip after about a minute per side for a crispy crust. The gnocchi? Boil, then sear in the same pan for a quick, delicious meal. You’ve got to try this easy yet gourmet combo!
