Not Yo Mama’s Banana Pudding

We’ve added a decadent twist to the classic banana pudding recipe, making it so irresistible you won’t be able to stop at just one bite! It’s quick, easy, and guaranteed to be a hit at any gathering—no leftovers here!

Ingredients:

  • 2 bags of Vanilla Wafers
  • 6 to 8 bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups of milk (or almond milk)
  • 1 (5 oz.) box of French Vanilla pudding mix (regular vanilla works too)
  • 1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese
  • 1 (14 oz.) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 1 (12 oz.) container frozen whipped topping, thawed

Instructions:

  1. Prepare the Base: Line the bottom of a 13×9-inch pan (about 2 inches deep) with vanilla wafers.
  2. Add Bananas: Arrange the sliced bananas evenly over the layer of cookies. Using up to 8 bananas adds extra deliciousness to this dessert!
  3. Make the Pudding: In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk and pudding mix. Almond milk is a great option if you prefer to cut back on dairy.
  4. Cream Cheese Mixture: In a separate large bowl, beat together the condensed milk and cream cheese until smooth and creamy.
  5. Fluffy Layer: Gently fold the thawed whipped topping into the cream cheese mixture to create a light, fluffy texture.
  6. Combine: Gradually mix the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture, ensuring everything is well incorporated (don’t forget to scrape the bottom of the bowl!).
  7. Layer: Pour the creamy mixture over the cookies and bananas in the pan.
  8. Top: Finish with a layer of vanilla wafers on top.
  9. Chill or Serve: Enjoy it immediately or refrigerate until you’re ready to dig in!

This delicious dessert is sure to be a crowd favorite!
