Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Sticks
There’s something magical about homemade snacks. While store-bought options are convenient, a treat with a personal touch always feels extra special. These Cinnamon Sugar Pretzel Sticks instantly reminded me of the sweet, irresistible aroma of Auntie Anne’s cinnamon pretzels at the mall—a scent I can never resist! And let me tell you, these pretzel sticks do not disappoint. They’re crispy, sweet, and oh-so-satisfying!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz bag of pretzel sticks
  • ¾ cup butter, melted
  • 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 egg white
  • 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • Optional: ½ teaspoon ground cardamom

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, melt the butter and let it cool for about 5 minutes.
  3. Once cooled, add the egg white and vanilla, mixing until smooth and well-combined.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine the sugar, cinnamon, and cardamom (if using). Set this aside.
  5. Toss the pretzel sticks in the butter mixture until they’re evenly coated. Gradually sprinkle the cinnamon-sugar mixture over the pretzels, tossing them gently to ensure every piece is well covered.
  6. Spread the coated pretzels in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 16-18 minutes, stirring halfway through to ensure even baking.
  8. Allow the pretzels to cool before serving and enjoy the sweet, crunchy goodness!
