  • Instructions:

Ingredients:

  • Scale: 1x, 2x, 3x
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced into ½-inch pieces
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Cooked rice or quinoa, for serving
  • Fresh parsley or cilantro, chopped (optional garnish)

Instructions:

  1. Make the Sauce: In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside. 🍯🧄🍋
  2. Cook the Sausage: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add sausage slices and cook for 4-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned. Remove sausage and set aside. 🌭
  3. Cook the Shrimp: In the same skillet, add shrimp, seasoning with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink and opaque. Remove shrimp and set aside with the sausage. 🍤
  4. Cook the Broccoli: Add broccoli florets to the skillet and sauté for 4-5 minutes until tender-crisp. Add a splash of water if needed to steam. 🥦
  5. Combine and Finish: Return sausage and shrimp to the skillet with broccoli. Pour honey garlic sauce over everything and stir to coat. Cook for 2-3 more minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken and coat the ingredients evenly. 🌭🍤🥦
  6. Serve: Serve over cooked rice or quinoa, garnishing with parsley or cilantro if desired. Enjoy your flavorful and hearty meal!
