Greek Chicken Meatballs

These flavorful Greek Chicken Meatballs are super easy to make and perfect for a quick, healthy weeknight meal. Serve them with homemade tzatziki, fresh veggies, and your favorite sides for a satisfying dish the whole family will love!

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds ground chicken
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh dill, chopped
  • 1/4 cup fresh mint, chopped
  • 1/4 cup finely diced red onion
  • 4 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil (for frying)

For Serving

  • Chopped romaine lettuce
  • Feta cheese
  • Cucumber
  • Tomato
  • White rice
  • Tzatziki sauce

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine all the meatball ingredients. Use your hands to mix everything together until well incorporated.
  2. Scoop the mixture with a cookie dough scoop or tablespoon and shape it into meatballs with your hands.
  3. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add the olive oil. Fry the meatballs in batches, cooking each side for 3-4 minutes until browned and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
  4. Serve the meatballs over chopped romaine lettuce, with feta, cucumber, tomato, rice, and a generous dollop of tzatziki sauce. Enjoy!
