Garlic Butter Shrimp Pasta

Nothing beats a trip to the beach! Here’s a fresh and flavorful shrimp fettuccine recipe that’s perfect for those seaside vibes:

Shrimp Fettuccine with Lemon and Parmesan

Ingredients

  • 12 oz fettuccine
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • Juice of ¼ lemon
  • Zest of ¼ lemon
  • 2 tbsp cooking oil
  • Sea salt, to taste
  • Black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the fettuccine until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: In a pan, heat the cooking oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for about 2 minutes, until fragrant.
  3. Cook the Shrimp: Add the butter to the pan and then the shrimp. Stir occasionally until the shrimp turn opaque and pink, about 4-6 minutes.
  4. Add Flavor: Stir in the lemon juice, lemon zest, Parmesan cheese, sea salt, and black pepper. Mix until everything is combined and the cheese melts.
  5. Combine: Transfer the cooked fettuccine into the pan and toss until evenly coated.
  6. Garnish and Serve: Top with fresh parsley and enjoy your delicious meal!
