This light and refreshing lemon mousse is made with just four ingredients and comes together in minutes! It’s a perfect less-sweet dessert for warm summer days.
Ingredients
- 2 cups (454 g) heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons (14 g) confectioner’s sugar
- Pinch of salt
- 1 cup (320 g) lemon curd
- 1 tablespoon (6 g) lemon zest
Instructions
- Whip the Cream: In a large bowl, combine heavy cream, confectioner’s sugar, and a pinch of salt. Use a hand mixer or stand mixer on medium speed to whip for 2-3 minutes until medium peaks form.
- Fold in Lemon Flavor: Gently fold in the lemon curd and lemon zest until fully blended and smooth.
- Portion and Chill: Divide the mousse into 8 small dessert glasses (about ½ cup per serving). For an optional garnish, top with a dollop of whipped cream or extra lemon zest. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to 24 hours, to allow the mousse to set.
