Cheeseburger Eggrolls

Cheeseburger Eggrolls are a fun, flavorful twist on a classic comfort food! Imagine all the juicy, cheesy goodness of a cheeseburger wrapped in a golden, crispy eggroll shell — it’s a perfect combination of crunch and melt-in-your-mouth deliciousness.

Whether you serve them as a party appetizer, game-day snack, or quick dinner, these fusion bites will disappear fast. Each eggroll is packed with seasoned ground beef, melty cheddar cheese, tangy pickles, and onions — then fried or baked until crispy perfection. Dip them in your favorite sauce (we love spicy mayo or burger sauce!) for a truly irresistible treat.

🧂 Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 small onion, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tablespoon ketchup
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¼ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 package egg roll wrappers

👩‍🍳 Instructions

Step 1: Prepare the Filling

Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, cooking for 2–3 minutes until fragrant and translucent.

Add ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, ketchup, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well, then remove from heat.

Let the mixture cool slightly before folding in the shredded cheddar cheese.

Step 2: Assemble the Eggrolls

Lay an egg roll wrapper on a clean surface in a diamond shape. Spoon a small amount of filling into the center. Wet the edges with water, fold up the bottom corner, fold in the sides, and roll tightly to seal. Repeat with the remaining filling and wrappers.

Step 3: Cook Until Crispy

To fry:
Heat about 1 inch of oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry the eggrolls in batches for 2–3 minutes per side, or until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.

To bake (lighter version):
Place the eggrolls on a lined baking sheet, brush lightly with oil, and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, flipping halfway through.

🍔 Serving Suggestions

Serve warm with dipping sauces like:

  • Burger sauce or “Big Mac” style sauce
  • Spicy mayo or sriracha aioli
  • Ketchup, mustard, or ranch

Add a sprinkle of sesame seeds or chopped green onions for a restaurant-style touch.

🧊 Storage & Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F (175°C) for 10 minutes to keep them crispy. Avoid microwaving, as it can make the wrappers soggy.

💡 Recipe Tips & Variations

  • Add veggies: Mix in finely chopped bell peppers, mushrooms, or spinach.
  • Try different cheeses: Monterey Jack, mozzarella, or pepper jack all melt beautifully.
  • Make it spicy: Add jalapeños, hot sauce, or crushed red pepper flakes.
  • Air fryer method: Spray eggrolls with oil and air fry at 375°F (190°C) for 8–10 minutes, flipping halfway.
