Air Fryer Pizza Bombs – Cheesy, Gooey, and Ready in 20 Minutes

These Air Fryer Pizza Bombs are the ultimate cheesy snack! Flaky biscuit dough is stuffed with mozzarella and pepperoni, brushed with garlicky butter, and cooked in the air fryer until golden and gooey. Serve with warm pizza sauce or ranch for dipping, and you’ve got a fun snack or meal the whole family will love.

Perfect for game day, movie night, or any time you want ooey-gooey, cheesy comfort food in just minutes.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • 1 can (8 count) refrigerated biscuits (flaky layers work best)
  • 32 pieces pepperoni, quartered
  • 8 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 16 cubes, room temperature
  • ¼ cup melted butter
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ½ cup pizza sauce, warmed, for dipping

Tips: Use larger biscuits for easier stuffing, and let your mozzarella come to room temperature so it melts perfectly inside the bombs.

How to Make Air Fryer Pizza Bombs

Step 1: Prep the Biscuits

  • Open the biscuit can and separate each biscuit in half horizontally to create 16 thin pieces.

Step 2: Add the Filling

  • Place 8 pieces of quartered pepperoni in the center of each biscuit half.
  • Add one cube of mozzarella on top of the pepperoni.

Step 3: Seal the Bombs

  • Fold the biscuit edges over the filling and roll gently into a ball. Make sure edges are sealed so the cheese doesn’t leak during cooking.

Step 4: Air Fry

  • Arrange the bombs in a single layer in your air fryer basket, leaving space between them for air circulation.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture over the biscuit tops.
  • Air fry at 350°F (175°C) for 5–6 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.

Step 5: Serve

  • Warm pizza sauce in the microwave or on the stovetop and serve for dipping.

Tips & Variations

  • Cheese Options: Try pepper jack or Colby for a twist.
  • Add-Ins: Precook veggies like peppers, onions, or mushrooms before adding to the filling.
  • Other Proteins: Ham or cooked sausage works well. Just don’t overfill.
  • Make Ahead: Assemble ahead of time and air fry when ready to serve.

Storage

  • Best enjoyed immediately for crispy edges and gooey centers.
  • Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container for 1–2 days, but they are best reheated in the air fryer to maintain crispness.
