What Makes These So Special?

1. The Perfect Brownie Base

When you’re adding frosting to brownies, the base matters. You don’t want them too thick or overly cakey — and definitely not so gooey they collapse under the topping.

These brownies are:

  • Ultra fudgy
  • Rich and chocolate-forward
  • Lightly infused with espresso for depth
  • Structured enough to hold fluffy frosting

The espresso powder enhances the chocolate flavor without making the brownies bitter. It adds that subtle mocha note that makes them taste sophisticated and bakery-worthy.

2. Light & Luscious Tiramisu-Style Frosting

Instead of a heavy buttercream, these brownies are topped with a whipped cream and cream cheese frosting.

It’s:

  • Light and airy from whipped cream
  • Slightly tangy from cream cheese
  • Just sweet enough to complement the rich brownie base

The balance between the fudgy mocha brownie and fluffy topping is what makes these truly next-level.

3. Espresso Dusting for That Classic Finish

No tiramisu-inspired dessert would be complete without espresso on top. A light dusting of espresso powder adds a beautiful coffee bite that cuts through the sweetness and ties everything together.

It’s bold, elegant, and absolutely delicious.

Tips for Perfect Tiramisu Brownies

Slightly underbake the brownies.
Bake until a knife inserted in the center comes out mostly clean. You want them fudgy but not raw.

Let them cool completely before frosting.
If the brownies are even slightly warm, the whipped frosting will melt and slide off.

Store in the fridge.
Because of the whipped cream frosting, these brownies need to be refrigerated. They’re even better slightly chilled.

Why You’ll Love These

  • Deep chocolate flavor
  • Subtle mocha notes
  • Creamy, cloud-like topping
  • Beautiful presentation
  • Perfect for entertaining

If you love brownies and you love tiramisu, this dessert is your dream come true.

Rich, creamy, chocolatey, and just the right amount of coffee-kissed indulgence.

Happy baking!
