Let’s be honest here—if there’s Halloween candy in the house, it’s mine. Sure, my girls went trick-or-treating, but let’s not forget who carried them for nine months! Now, when life gets stressful, there’s nothing more relaxing than sorting through my candy stash. And this time, I decided to challenge myself to create a recipe featuring the candy I have the most of: Snickers. My husband loves them, and honestly, I might have borrowed from his secret stash…

Why Snickers Bundt Cake?
Snickers is all about that perfect balance of peanuts, caramel, and chocolate. While caramel adds texture, I focused on the peanuts and chocolate for this cake. Here’s how I made it:
- Peanut-infused milk: I soaked crushed peanuts in milk to extract that rich, peanutty flavor.
- Melted chocolate: Right before baking, I drizzled melted milk chocolate into the batter for extra indulgence.
This cake is a dense, tender pound cake with a light and fluffy base thanks to plenty of butter, sugar, and eggs. And, of course, the Snickers pieces add the perfect touch of sweetness and crunch.
Can I Use Other Candy?
Absolutely! If you’re not a fan of Snickers or have allergy concerns, feel free to swap in other candies like Twix, Mars, or M&Ms. Just use regular milk instead of the peanut milk and switch out the milk chocolate for caramel. I bet it would be delicious with M&Ms!
Ingredients for Snickers Bundt Cake:
- For the Snickers Milk:
- 1 ½ cups whole milk
- 1 cup toasted peanuts, coarsely chopped
- For the Cake:
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ tsp baking powder
- ¼ tsp baking soda
- 3 sticks unsalted butter, softened
- 2 cups sugar
- 6 large eggs
- 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 2 cups chopped Snickers bars (about ¼-inch cubes)
- For the Chocolate Drizzle:
- ½ cup melted milk chocolate
Instructions:
1. Prepare the Peanut Milk:
Start by chopping the toasted peanuts and mixing them with milk in a medium saucepan. Simmer the mixture on medium heat for about 5 minutes. Once it’s boiling, remove from heat and let it cool to room temperature. For the best flavor, refrigerate the milk overnight. Once cooled, strain the mixture to discard the peanuts.
2. Preheat & Prepare the Pan:
Preheat your oven to 350°F. Grease a 9-inch bundt pan and set aside.
3. Cream the Butter & Sugar:
In a standing mixer, beat the softened butter and sugar together on medium speed for about 7 minutes, until light and fluffy. This step is key to creating a tender, airy cake.
4. Add the Eggs:
Add eggs one at a time, ensuring each is fully incorporated before adding the next.
5. Mix the Dry Ingredients:
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and baking soda. Toss the chopped Snickers pieces in a pinch of the flour mixture so they don’t sink to the bottom during baking.
6. Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients:
Alternate adding the dry flour mixture and the peanut milk (with apple cider vinegar mixed in) to the butter-sugar mixture. Start and finish with the flour mixture. After the last addition of flour, fold in the Snickers pieces using a rubber spatula.
7. Drizzle & Swirl:
Pour the batter into the prepared bundt pan. Drizzle the melted milk chocolate over the top and use a knife to swirl it through the batter.
8. Bake:
Bake for 55-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean.
9. Cool & Remove:
Let the cake cool in the pan for 5-7 minutes, then carefully remove it from the pan.
Storing & Glazing the Cake:
While glazing is optional, I melted some additional milk chocolate (about 1 cup) and added a tablespoon of shortening for a smooth finish. Drizzle this over the cooled cake for an extra indulgent treat.
This cake is best stored at room temperature, covered, for up to 3 days. You can also freeze it for up to 3 weeks. Just wrap the cake in plastic wrap, and when you’re ready to eat, allow it to come to room temperature.
Happy Baking!
