Ingredients
- 6 oz. (¾ cup) butter, room temperature
- 3.5 oz. (½ cup) superfine sugar
- 9 oz. (2¼ cups) all-purpose flour
- ½ cup raw sugar or large-granulated sugar for coating
Instructions
- In a mixer, beat the butter and superfine sugar until light and fluffy.
- Sift the flour into the bowl and knead until a dough forms.
- Shape the dough into a long rectangular prism with your hands on a flat surface.
- Roll the dough in raw sugar, wrap it in cling film, and refrigerate for an hour.
- After chilling, cut the dough into squares, place them on a parchment-lined baking sheet, and bake at 325°F for 20 minutes.
