Why We Love It

Overnight oats are a staple in our house—especially for my kids! I love switching up the flavors, and this strawberries and cream version is one of our new favorites. My daughter Adalyn even helped make them by measuring and stirring the ingredients. It’s a great recipe to get kids involved in the kitchen!

Just mix everything together the night before and pop it in the fridge. In the morning, you’ve got a creamy, fruity breakfast ready to enjoy. If you’re short on time, you can also make them a couple of hours ahead instead of overnight.

Ingredients You’ll Need

  • 1½ cups old-fashioned oats
  • 1½ cups milk (any kind you like)
  • Optional: ¼–½ cup water (if the mixture is too thick)
  • 1 cup strawberry Greek yogurt (or use vanilla/plain)
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • ¾ cup chopped strawberries (fresh or frozen)
  • Optional: 1 scoop vanilla protein powder or unflavored collagen peptides

How to Make Strawberries and Cream Overnight Oats

  1. In a mixing bowl or mason jar, combine oats, milk, yogurt, chia seeds, strawberries, and protein powder if using.
  2. Stir well to combine.
  3. Cover and refrigerate overnight or for at least 2 hours.
  4. Enjoy cold in the morning—no cooking required!

Make-Ahead Tips

These overnight oats are perfect for meal prep. Make a few jars ahead of time and store them in the fridge for up to 4–5 days. You can easily double or triple the recipe and try different yogurt flavors or toppings to keep things interesting.

Nutrition Boost

  • Oats are rich in fiber and may help support heart health by lowering cholesterol.
  • Chia seeds add healthy fats and protein to keep you full longer.
  • Strawberries provide vitamin C, which is especially helpful for immune support in the colder months.
  • Greek yogurt adds a creamy texture and a dose of probiotics.

Whether you’re looking for a quick breakfast before school or a nourishing snack to grab on the go, these Strawberries and Cream Overnight Oats are a sweet, satisfying choice the whole family will love!
