  • Unsalted Butter: 1 cup (2 sticks)
  • Brown Sugar: 1 cup
  • Chopped Pecan Halves: 2 cups

  • Vanilla Extract: 1 teaspoon

Instructions:

  1. Set Up: Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease it with butter. Arrange the graham crackers on the sheet, breaking them as needed to fit.
  2. Cook the Topping: In a medium saucepan, combine the butter, brown sugar, chopped pecans, and salt. Heat over medium, stirring continuously until the mixture comes to a boil. Allow it to boil for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
