Pecan Pie Bark Recipe

This recipe offers the rich, nutty taste of pecan pie with a crispy twist, making it ideal for serving at gatherings or savoring alongside a cup of coffee!

Ingredients:

  • 13 graham cracker sheets
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 cups chopped pecan halves
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Set your oven to 350°F (177°C). Line a rimmed baking sheet with aluminum foil and lightly grease it with butter. Arrange the graham crackers in a single layer on the sheet, breaking them as necessary to fit.
  2. Make the Caramel Topping: In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the brown sugar, pecans, and salt, stirring continuously until the mixture comes to a boil. Let it boil for 2 minutes, then remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
  3. Assemble: Pour the caramel pecan mixture evenly over the graham crackers, using a spatula to spread it and make sure the pecans are well distributed.
  4. Bake: Place the sheet in the oven and bake for about 10 minutes, or until the topping is bubbling.
  5. Cool and Break: Remove from the oven and allow the bark to cool completely. Once cooled, break it into pieces and serve!
