Nothing says summer quite like a juicy, ripe peach! I may go a little peach-crazy during the season, and this smoothie is my go-to way to enjoy the sweet, fragrant fruit. Perfect for a breakfast boost, an afternoon pick-me-up, or a post-workout treat, this peach smoothie is creamy, refreshing, and packed with wholesome goodness.

For a fun twist, I sometimes make a big batch, freeze it into ice cube trays, and then blend the frozen cubes for a frosty, slushy version!

Ingredients
- 2 cups fresh or frozen peaches, chopped
- ½ cup coconut yogurt (or your favorite yogurt)
- ½ cup almond milk (or milk of your choice)
- 1 tablespoon agave or maple syrup (optional, for extra sweetness)
- ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
- A handful of ice cubes (if using fresh peaches)
- Optional: 1 tablespoon chia seeds or flaxseeds for extra nutrition
Instructions
1. Prep the Ingredients
If using fresh peaches, peel and chop them into chunks. Frozen peaches can be used for a thicker, colder smoothie, eliminating the need for ice.
2. Blend the Smoothie
Add peaches, yogurt, almond milk, sweetener (if using), vanilla extract, and ice cubes (if using fresh peaches) into a blender. Add chia seeds or flaxseeds for an extra nutritional boost.
3. Blend Until Smooth
Blend on high until the mixture is creamy and fully combined. Stop occasionally to scrape down the sides for an even texture.
4. Taste and Adjust
Taste your smoothie and add more sweetener if desired. Blend briefly to incorporate any adjustments.
5. Serve Immediately
Pour into a glass and enjoy! Garnish with a peach slice or a sprinkle of chia seeds for a pretty, summery touch.
Tip: Freeze the smoothie into ice cube trays, then blend the frozen cubes for a refreshing, slushy version perfect for hot summer days.
Tips for the Perfect Peach Smoothie
- Use Ripe Peaches: The sweeter and juicier the peach, the better your smoothie will taste. Frozen peaches are a great option out of season.
- Adjust Creaminess: Use more or less milk to get your preferred texture – less for thick, more for lighter.
- Get Creative: Add berries, bananas, or a handful of spinach for variety without sacrificing flavor.
Whether you’re starting your morning or cooling off in the afternoon, this Peach Smoothie is a deliciously refreshing way to celebrate summer!
