  • 4 chicken breast fillets
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced

  • 1 tsp paprika powder (mild or hot)
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt & pepper to taste

🍳 Instructions

1. Sear the chicken

  • Pat chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  • Sear chicken breasts for 5–7 minutes per side until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.

2. Cook the vegetables

  • In the same skillet, sauté onion and garlic for 2–3 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add bell peppers and zucchini, cooking for about 5 minutes until slightly softened.

3. Make the cream sauce

  • Pour in the cream, add thyme, salt, and pepper.
  • Optional: stir in honey for a touch of sweetness.
  • Let the sauce simmer for 5–7 minutes until slightly thickened.

4. Combine & finish

  • Return chicken to the pan and let it simmer in the sauce for 2–3 minutes.
  • Adjust seasoning to taste.

5. Serve

  • Garnish with fresh parsley or basil.
  • Pair with rice, pasta, mashed potatoes, or crusty bread.
