Jello Roll-Ups (Fun, Easy & Kid-Approved Treat!)

Looking for a fun, colorful, and super easy treat to make with kids? These Jello Roll-Ups are the perfect no-fuss snack! 🌈✨ Made with just a few simple ingredients, they turn classic Jello into a playful, rollable treat that kids absolutely love—especially because they get to unroll them before eating!

🎉 Why You’ll Love This Recipe

  • Only 3 ingredients
  • Quick & easy (just 5 minutes prep!)
  • Perfect kid-friendly activity
  • Bright, fun, and customizable colors
  • Great for parties, snacks, or summer fun

If your kids are bored of regular Jello, this creative twist will bring the excitement back!

🛒 Ingredients

  • 1 small package of Jello (any flavor/color)
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Dissolve the Jello

In a microwave-safe bowl, mix Jello powder with boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved.
👉 If needed, microwave for 30 seconds and stir again.

2. Add Marshmallows

Add marshmallows and microwave for another 30 seconds.

3. Mix Until Smooth

Stir (or gently whisk) until marshmallows are completely melted and combined.

4. Pour & Chill

Pour mixture into a lightly greased 8×8-inch pan.
Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, until set.

5. Roll It Up

Run a knife around the edges to loosen. Carefully roll the Jello sheet as tightly as possible.

6. Slice

Cut into 1-inch pieces using a sharp knife.

💡 Tips for Best Results

  • Use an 8×8 pan (larger pans make it too thin)
  • Lightly grease the pan to prevent sticking
  • Don’t over-whisk—too many bubbles can form
  • Use a sharp knife for cleaner slices
  • Rolls may unroll slightly—totally normal (and fun!)

🍭 Fun Ideas & Variations

  • Try different Jello flavors for colorful batches
  • Mix colors for a rainbow effect
  • Cut into fun shapes instead of rolls
  • Let kids pick their favorite flavors

🧊 Storage

  • Store in the fridge in an airtight container for up to 3 days

👶 Why Kids Love It

  • They get to choose the colors
  • They can help mix and pour
  • And best of all… they get to unroll it before eating!
