Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour, sifted for a light texture
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prepare Pan: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×9-inch baking pan.
  2. Cream Butter and Sugar: In a large bowl, beat softened butter with sugar until light and fluffy, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add Eggs and Vanilla: Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, sift together flour, baking powder, and salt.
  5. Combine Mixtures: Gradually mix dry ingredients into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Fold in White Chocolate: Gently fold in white chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Bake: Pour batter into the prepared pan, spread evenly, and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Cool and Serve: Cool in the pan for 10 minutes, transfer to a rack to cool completely, then slice and serve.
