  • Quick & Easy – Ready in just 20 minutes with minimal prep.
  • Customizable – Use your favorite smoked sausage and add extra veggies to suit your taste.
  • Crispy & Flavorful – The air fryer creates the perfect crispy texture while locking in moisture and flavor.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs baby potatoes (or Yukon Gold, russet, etc.)
  • 1 small onion, cut into large chunks
  • 2 tbsp olive oil (or vegetable oil)
  • 1 tsp seasoned salt
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 16 oz smoked sausage, sliced into 1-inch pieces
  • 1 tsp dried parsley (optional, for garnish)
  • Dipping sauce (optional: honey mustard, ketchup, BBQ sauce)

How to Make Air Fryer Potatoes and Sausage

  1. Prep the Ingredients: Slice the potatoes in half and cut the onion into large chunks.
  2. Season the Potatoes: Place potatoes and onions in a large zip-top bag. Add olive oil, seasoned salt, garlic powder, and black pepper. Seal the bag and shake to coat evenly.
  3. Air Fry the Potatoes: Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray. Pour in the coated potatoes and onions. Cook at 400°F (200°C) for 15 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through.
  4. Add the Sausage: After 15 minutes, add the smoked sausage slices to the air fryer basket. Cook for 5 more minutes, or until the potatoes are golden and crispy.
  5. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with dried parsley and serve with your favorite dipping sauce.

Tips for the Best Air Fryer Potatoes and Sausage

✔ Use Pre-Cooked Sausage – Smoked sausage, kielbasa, or chorizo work great. Avoid raw sausage unless pre-cooked beforehand. ✔ Shake the Basket – Tossing the ingredients halfway through ensures even cooking. ✔ Customize It – Add bell peppers, broccoli, or cauliflower for extra color and flavor. ✔ Convert to Oven Cooking – Bake at 400°F (200°C) for 30-35 minutes, stirring occasionally.
