Creamy Pink Latte — Nourishing, Cozy & Naturally Beautiful

Creamy, frothy, nourishing, and oh-so pretty — this stunning pink latte is a wintertime treat you can whip up in minutes. It gets its rosy hue from beetroot powder, paired with a gentle warming spice that gives it depth and comfort. Think of it as the soothing cousin to my classic Ayurvedic golden milk — caffeine-free, nourishing, and actually delicious.

Since my golden milk paste became so popular, I wanted to craft another cozy drink for cold evenings — something calming, colorful, and good for the body. This vibrant beet latte checked every box, and now it’s my favorite sip to enjoy under a blanket with a good book in hand.

What Makes This Recipe Special

Sure, the pink latte trend looks cute — but it isn’t just hype. This drink is genuinely delicious. Beetroot brings natural sweetness and nutrients, cinnamon adds warmth, and the frothy milk makes it feel like something straight out of a café.

Plus, beet is packed with goodness — so you can sip something beautiful and beneficial at the same time.

Ingredients

You only need four simple ingredients to make this latte:

⭐ Beetroot Powder

The star ingredient responsible for the beautiful pink color. Beet powder is made from concentrated beet juice that has been freeze-dried and ground. You can usually find it in wellness shops or specialty food stores.

⭐ Milk

I used full-fat dairy milk for richness, but almond, coconut, or oat milk will work perfectly if you want a vegan alternative.

⭐ Sweetener

Maple syrup, honey, date syrup, or homemade date sugar — choose whichever suits your taste.

⭐ Cinnamon

A hint of cinnamon brings a warm, earthy aroma that pairs beautifully with the beet.

(See recipe card for exact measurements.)

Substitutions & Variations

  • Plant-based milk like almond, coconut, or oat makes this recipe dairy-free.
  • No cinnamon? Try cardamom or nutmeg instead.
  • Want a caffeinated twist? Add a shot of espresso — think beetroot latte meets beet cappuccino!

How to Make a Pink Latte

Making this latte is simple and takes just a few minutes.

Step 1

Warm half the milk in a saucepan over medium heat. Whisk in 1 teaspoon beet powder and a pinch of cinnamon. Bring it just to a simmer.

Step 2

Froth the remaining milk using a frother, whisk, blender, or even a jar shaken with a lid.

Step 3

Pour the hot beet milk into your mug, top with the frothy milk, and stir. Sweeten with honey or maple syrup to taste.

Optional Garnish

Dust with more beet powder or cinnamon — or add dried lavender for a calming floral touch.

💭 Top Tip

Beets stain! Be mindful when mixing or serving — that gorgeous pink color can cling to clothes.

How to Store Leftover Pink Latte

If you have leftovers, refrigerate for up to one day — but this drink is best enjoyed fresh while it’s warm and frothy.

Tips & Tricks for the Best Result

✔ Can’t find beet powder? Roast fresh beets, puree, and strain the juice — a small amount will give you the same color.
✔ Want an iced version? Mix beet powder, spices, and sweetener with a splash of hot milk first to dissolve, then add cold milk and ice.
✔ Try other warming spices like ginger or black pepper.
✔ If sweetening with honey, always add it at the end — heating honey can dull its benefits.

How to Serve Your Pink Latte

This cozy beet latte is nutritious, caffeine-free, and a wonderful drink the whole family can enjoy on chilly nights. Top it with lavender buds for extra relaxation.

For warmer days, serve it iced and skip the warming spices — it becomes a refreshing, naturally sweet drink.
