Creamy Cucumber Salad (Viral-Inspired & So Addictive!)

Out of all the viral food trends floating around social media, Logan Moffitt’s cucumber salads have easily become my favorite. They’re quick, refreshing, and unbelievably satisfying. After trying an Asian-inspired version recently, I knew I had to experiment again — and this creamy version might just be even better.

It’s cool, tangy, garlicky, and loaded with fresh dill. Honestly? With this recipe, you’ll easily eat an entire cucumber in one sitting.

Why You’ll Love This Creamy Cucumber Salad

  • Ready in 5 minutes – Perfect for busy days
  • Fresh and cooling – Ideal for warm weather
  • Creamy but light – Thanks to Greek yogurt
  • Full of flavor – Garlic, lemon, and dill bring it to life
  • Customizable & vegan-friendly – Just use plant-based yogurt and mayo

It works beautifully as a side dish, light lunch, or refreshing dinner addition.

Ingredients

  • 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
  • 2 shallots, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Greek yogurt (regular or vegan)
  • 1½ tbsp mayonnaise (regular or vegan)
  • 1 handful fresh dill, chopped
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • ½ tsp sugar

How to Make Creamy Cucumber Salad

  1. Slice the cucumber
Thinly slice the cucumber directly into a large jar or lidded container. A mandolin makes this extra quick (just be careful!).
  2. Add the remaining ingredients
Add the shallots, garlic, Greek yogurt, mayonnaise, dill, lemon juice, salt, and sugar.
  3. Shake it up
Secure the lid tightly and shake well until the cucumber slices are fully coated in the creamy dressing.
  4. Serve immediately
Enjoy straight away for maximum crunch and freshness.

Tips for Best Results

  • Slice the cucumber thin for the best texture.
  • Adjust lemon and salt to taste.
  • Let it sit for 5–10 minutes if you want the flavors to deepen slightly.
  • Use full-fat yogurt for a richer finish, or vegan alternatives for a plant-based version.

This creamy cucumber salad is proof that simple ingredients can create something seriously addictive. Fresh, zesty, and ultra-satisfying — it’s the kind of recipe you’ll come back to again and again.
