Cranberry Turkey Sliders — A Holiday Bite of Thanksgiving

These Cranberry Turkey Sliders bring all the festive flavors of Thanksgiving into a quick and easy handheld meal. Soft Hawaiian rolls are piled high with savory turkey, tangy cranberry sauce, and melty Havarti cheese, then brushed with a buttery, seasoned glaze and baked to golden, gooey perfection. They’re perfect for holiday gatherings, potlucks, or whenever you want a cozy taste of the season!

Why You’ll Love These Sliders:

  • Simple & Fast: Ready in under 40 minutes, with minimal prep.
  • Flexible Ingredients: Use leftover turkey or deli-sliced turkey, whole berry or jellied cranberry sauce, and your favorite melty cheese like Havarti, Munster, or Provolone.
  • Make-Ahead Friendly: Assemble ahead and refrigerate, then bake just before serving.
  • Perfectly Portionable: Great for feeding a crowd or enjoying leftovers.

Ingredients

  • 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian rolls
  • 1 lb thinly sliced deli turkey (or leftover turkey)
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce (whole berry or jellied)
  • 6 slices Havarti or Provolone cheese
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tsp minced dried onion
  • 2 tsp poppy seeds
  • 2 tsp fresh minced chives

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ºF (175ºC). Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  2. Slice the Hawaiian rolls horizontally and place the bottom halves evenly in the baking dish.
  3. Layer the turkey evenly over the rolls.
  4. Spread cranberry sauce over the turkey layer.
  5. Add slices of cheese evenly on top of the cranberry sauce.
  6. Place the top halves of the rolls over the cheese.
  7. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, dried onion, poppy seeds, and minced chives. Brush this flavorful mixture generously over the tops of the rolls.
  8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15–18 minutes until the sliders are warmed through and the cheese is melted.
  9. Remove the foil and bake another 3–5 minutes to brown the tops to a beautiful golden finish.
  10. Serve warm and enjoy the perfect holiday bite!

Tips & Variations

  • Swap deli turkey for leftover roasted turkey to use up holiday leftovers.
  • Try different cheeses like Munster, Provolone, or Mozzarella for melty goodness.
  • Prepare the sliders a few hours ahead, cover, and refrigerate. Bake just before serving for convenience.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for 3-4 days — they reheat beautifully!
