Chocolate Covered Strawberry Turkeys – A Fun Thanksgiving Dessert Twist

Move over pumpkin pie and apple strudel — there’s a new Thanksgiving dessert in town that’s sure to steal the spotlight! 🦃🍓 These Chocolate Covered Strawberry Turkeys are as adorable as they are delicious, and they’re guaranteed to make Mom smile and impress Grandma at the dinner table.

While Thanksgiving is usually all about hearty comfort food, this creative dessert might just tempt you to skip straight to the sweet stuff!

Inspired by TikToker @_ellagrace12, this clever idea transforms fresh strawberries into miniature chocolate “turkeys.” It’s the perfect mix of fun, festive, and irresistibly tasty — ideal for kids and adults alike!

What You’ll Need

  • Fresh strawberries (these form the “body” of the turkeys)
  • Mini marshmallows
  • Pretzel sticks
  • Melted chocolate (for dipping and assembly)
  • Skewers or parchment paper for drying

How to Make Chocolate Covered Strawberry Turkeys

  1. Prepare the Turkey Legs:
Take two mini marshmallows and insert a pretzel stick through each until it reaches the middle. These will be your turkey “drumsticks.”
  2. Attach the Legs:
Use a little melted chocolate to stick the marshmallow pretzel “legs” to either side of each strawberry.
  3. Dip in Chocolate:
Carefully dip each strawberry—legs and all—into melted chocolate until fully coated.
  4. Let Them Set:
Place the coated strawberries on a skewer or parchment paper and let them dry until the chocolate hardens into a glossy shell.

Once set, your Chocolate Covered Strawberry Turkeys are ready to serve! Arrange them on a white platter for a fun, festive touch that will make everyone at your Thanksgiving table do a double take before digging in.

Sweet, creative, and irresistibly cute — these turkey treats are the perfect way to end your holiday feast with a smile. 🦃🍫🍓
