Instructions
1. Make the Bread
- In a large bowl, combine flour, finely crushed nacho chips, cayenne pepper powder, yeast, sunflower oil, honey, salt, and lukewarm water. Mix well and knead the dough for 10–12 minutes until smooth and elastic.
- Cover the bowl and let the dough rise in a warm place for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Divide the dough into 9 equal portions (about 80 g each). Shape each portion into a ball by flattening and folding the dough inward.
- Roll each ball into an oval shape with a rolling pin. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let rise for another 30 minutes, or until doubled.
- Heat a heavy-bottomed pan over medium heat and cook the bread on each side for a few minutes until golden brown.
2. Prepare the Chicken Filling
- Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Add onion and cook for 3–4 minutes.
- Stir in chicken, salt, cumin, red bell pepper powder, cayenne pepper, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, and water. Cook for 5–6 minutes until the chicken is cooked through.
- Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar until melted and creamy.
3. Assemble the Sandwiches
- Mix lettuce with mayonnaise and a little samurai sauce.
- Cut open each bread roll and fill with the lettuce mix, chicken mixture, avocado slices, and extra nacho cheese chips.
- Drizzle with more samurai sauce to taste and serve warm.
