Ingredients

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 10-ounce can cheddar cheese soup (undiluted)
  • ½ cup salsa
  • Flour tortillas
  • Taco seasoning (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions

  1. Cook the beef: In a medium skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until fully cooked. Drain excess grease if needed.
  2. Mix in cheese and salsa: Add the cheddar cheese soup and salsa (and taco seasoning, if using) to the beef. Stir well and cook for 1–2 minutes until heated through.
  3. Assemble the burritos: Spoon the beef and cheese mixture down the center of a warmed tortilla. Add any additional toppings you like and roll up the burrito.

Suggested Toppings

  • Shredded cheese
  • Shredded lettuce
  • Tomatoes or Pico de Gallo
  • Black olives
  • Onions (white, red, or green)
  • Jalapeños
  • Refried beans
  • Mexican rice
  • Extra salsa or taco sauce
  • Guacamole or sliced avocado
  • Sour cream
  • Lime wedges
  • Cilantro
  • Tortilla chips or Fritos for crunch

Notes

  • Cheese soup: Use the cheddar cheese soup straight from the can—do not add water. It gives the burritos a creamy, cheesy texture.
  • Leftovers: Store any leftover beef mixture in an airtight container in the fridge for 3–4 days. Keep tortillas separate and assemble burritos before serving.

These burritos are simple, cheesy, and ready in minutes, making them perfect for busy weeknights or casual family dinners.
