Banana Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Savor the goodness of Chocolate Chip Banana Oatmeal Cookies—healthy, delicious, and perfect for dessert, a snack, or even breakfast!

Ingredients

  • 2 large ripe bananas, mashed (about 3/4 cup)
  • 1/2 cup almond butter (substitute with peanut butter if desired)
  • 3 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 2 cups rolled oats (use gluten-free if needed)
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon (optional)
  • 1/4 cup chocolate chips
  • 1/3 cup chopped walnuts

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the mashed bananas, almond butter, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix the rolled oats, salt, cinnamon, chocolate chips, and walnuts.
  4. Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients and stir until well combined.
  5. Using a cookie scoop, drop spoonfuls of the mixture onto the prepared baking sheet. Gently press down on each cookie to flatten slightly.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown around the edges.
